Going to try a few different fonts till I find the one I like best. This one might be nice as a greeting on a card - Best wishes, Happy Birthday, hmm, maybe. It's called Harrington. Anyway, here's a picture of some Christmas cards I've been making plus a picture of fuscias I learned to make on a recent course in Kendal.

Been busy!

Hmm, well...
The sun has disappeared, Rosie's in a deep, deep doze and I've found a new toy for my blog so maybe we'll put Beecraigs on hold for now. The new toy is Windows Live Writer which has loads of tools to edit my blog. All the fonts on my hard drive can be used and drag and drop facilities for pictures. Lots to explore. Wonder when I'll have time to do the cleaning?? Btw, read this joke yesterday
"Men think monogamy is something you make dining room tables out of" hee, hee.
The sun has got his hat on .....

LAST BUT NOT LEAST ....
FLORAL PUNCH CRAFT
I really enjoyed making this card and wrap. I used a Leone Em blossom punch and Woodware leaf punch to make the floral display and shaded them with Whispers Strokes Pens and an aqua brush. The wrap is made from a 12 x 12 inch scrap paper - I learned the fold at my local Papermill class, thanks Julie.

Oh No.............
Just took my laptop through to show my husband my wonderful new blog and guess what? Rosie has had lunch - my lunch. Stupid woman. Other greyhound lovers will know that if food is not in your mouth, or on the way there, it must be his/hers, theirs (depending how many greys you have).
First musings
Since I started paper crafting (about 2 years ago) I have read many blogs, finally I decided it was time to have my own space to share my creations. Not expecting loads of visitors, so don't think I'll include a counter thingy just yet - but at least I will see my work whenever I want. I frequently give cards to people and find myself wishing I had taken a photo of it first, now I shall have my own showcase on the web - that's dinky. Well, I think so and Rosie has slightly raised her head off the sofa, so she must think so too. No, got it wrong, she was checking to see if I had finished eating the ham on my plate. Stay tuned, I'm going to publish my first card.
